Ye Must Be Born Again

A person is a trinity just as God is a trinity. A person has a body, soul and spirit. The problem is that an unsaved person has a dead spirit that was inherited from Adam when he ate of the tree knowledge of good and evil, and his spirit died that day. So, that person's dead spirit needs to be regenerated. That is why when a person gets saved by believing and trusting Christ, and his death, burial and resurrection 1 Corinthians 15:1-4)(Ephesians 1:12-13), he is said to have been born again. His dead spirit is made alive. It is a spiritual re-birth. They are made a new creature in Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 5:17)
