I had a very good training run this morning. on my runs, in between my walks, I did not push myself as hard as I normally do. This is the first time that I have ran 3 days in a row in quite some time.

I had a very good training run this morning. on my runs, in between my walks, I did not push myself as hard as I normally do. This is the first time that I have ran 3 days in a row in quite some time.

I did not have a very good race pace run this morning. On my last race pace run, I set a new personal record, but today, I stopped at the 3.5 mile mark and walked a couple of minutes cause I was really tired and spent. On the bright side, I did run the last .25 mile or so at a pretty nice pace.

I Found A Cool Way To Do Strength Training

On the foam rolling app I have on my phone, there is an option to do strength training using a foam roller. I am not a big fan of strength training, though I know it needs to be done. I gave this a try, and it was quite enjoyable. Maybe now, I will be able to do strength training on a regular basis. Only time will tell.

This was an ok run. I walked quite a bit, due to going into an area I was unfamiliar with. I was not sure if I would come across stray dogs or not.

Well, I am scheduled for a 12 mile easy paced run tomorrow morning. I have been trying to eat as many carbs as I can, the last couple of days (carbing up). I have my cookies to eat every 30 minutes on my run to keep my fuel level up. I am so looking forward to this run. I mapped out my run to run on a road that I have never ran before. Just want to go somewhere different for a change. Please pray that I will be able to finish it, and that the Lord will keep me safe. Thank you all so much.

But, I just want to praise and thank the Lord for his faithfulness, and for never leaving me nor forsaking me. He has always gotten me through everything that I have have been through, and he will continue to do so.

Please pray for my wife. She does not understand this anxiety that I am going through, and told myself and my VA psychologist that I have become a grumpy old man. To her, all I have to do is stop being anxious, but it is not that easy to do. Thank you all so much.

I believe that in order for this to be fixed, I have to admit that I have it. So, I am humbly asking everyone to please pray that the Lord will fix it. One thing that my VA psychologist told me was to set up goals for myself and focus on achieving those goals. One goal is to run in and complete a marathon (26.2 miles or 42K). I am training for that now. I am on week 5 or 6 of a 20 week training program. I also have a goal of learning skydiving, at least doing a tandem with an instructor.
