So, here we are.

Welcome to Around the Barako Table. ☕🎸

I created Barako Chugs & Mugs as a place to share my guitar journey, my love for Christian rock and metal, and maybe a little Barako coffee along the way.

I'm not a guitar teacher, and I'm not trying to present myself as some amazing guitarist who has everything figured out. I'm just a guy who loves to pick up a guitar and play.

A lot of the time, I'll work on my metronome training. Other times, I just pick up the guitar and start playing. I might stumble across a riff or groove that I really like, and when that happens, I'll hit the record button and share it.

That's where the Groove Sessions come from.

But I don't want this site to be only about playing guitar. I want it to be a place where I can talk about the music I'm listening to, the Christian rock and metal that inspires me, the guitars I love, things I'm learning, and whatever else happens to be on my mind.

That's why I called this part of the site Around the Barako Table.

Imagine we're sitting around a table with a cup of coffee, talking about guitars, music, life, and whatever comes up.

No pretending. No trying to impress anybody.

Just sharing the journey.
