Meet Me
I picked up the guitar for the first time in my early 40s. I loved playing, but I became frustrated with the learning process and eventually put the guitar down.
At 55, I picked it up again—and this time, I didn't quit.
I've been playing consistently ever since. I'm 57 now, and I'm still learning, still working on my timing, and still discovering new grooves that make me want to hit the record button.
I'm not trying to become the greatest guitarist in the world. I just love playing, especially rhythm and groove, and I'm enjoying the journey one riff at a time.
It's never too late to pick up the guitar again. 🎸
